BAMF of the Day: NBA rookie of the year Kyrie Irving goes undercover at a pickup basketball game, dressed as the aging “Uncle Drew.” Unbeknownst to his opponents, Uncle Drew’s got skills, and he wants you kids to get off his ~~lawn~~ court.

This is basically the best disguise for a pro basketball player since Larry Johnson dressed up as Grandmama to help out Steve Urkel and sell some Converse shoes.

We’ve just received the sad news that today - 11 May 2012 - Carroll Shelby has passed away at the age of 89 after being hospitalized for pneumonia.

He was the mastermind behind the AC Cobra, the Dodge Viper (with Bob Lutz), and influential in the development of the Ford GT40.

In tribute to one of the undisputed kings of American muscle cars, here is our story from Top Gear magazine published only one month ago, dedicated to a true automotive legend.

Being on the road a lot this year means I haven’t booked a single concert ticket. Until this week. And as luck should have it, the town I’m going to be in in a couple of weeks just happens to have the Arctic Monkeys supporting Black Keys. $76.50 later, and I have a determined reason to leave the clients office before 9 o’clock for at least one night this project. Game on.

Frogger IRL of the Day: In honor of Frogger’s 30th birthday (and perhaps George Costanza), problem-solver Tyler DeAngelo revamped the game with real-time data from cars traveling down NYC’s Fifth Avenue. Then he –- and two pals –- grabbed one of the classic arcade machines and took it to the streets. “5th Ave Frogger” is run by rigging a camera with a clear view of the street up to a computer, which then translates the positional data of cars into in-game cars that your frog must avoid.
