I haven’t written much on here lately. Things have been a little crazy the last few weeks, specifically work-wise. I started travelling again for the first time since the little’un was born, and this is my second week in a row I’m away. I’m sure it’ll get a little easier as time goes on, but it’s pretty tough. At least this weeks trip is just a couple of nights. 

In other news, I would highly recommend not submitting the same abstract to multiple industry magazines thinking you won’t get accepted by them all. I’m now on article number 2 of 3 on Spatial Business Intelligence for Utilities, and although I could probably wax elegantly for hours on end on the subject with a drink or two in my hand, writing articles with the same title that are different is pretty tough. That and combined with the fact my writing skills have dissipated at a rapid rate since my essay writing days in college, I’ve had a few sleepless nights in the run up to my first draft being due (which is tomorrow, and this post is me procrastinating again at 9.55pm Eastern….). Better get back to it.
